Levr (“Levr”, “we”, “us”) is a workout tracker that logs your training and films it. This Privacy Policy explains what Levr does and doesn’t do with your information. It covers the Levr app on both iPhone and Android. Where the two differ, the section says so.

In short. Your training data stays on your device by default, Levr has no accounts, Levr never shows you ads, and we never sell your data.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you log in Levr — your workouts, sets, reps, weights, durations, routines, body measurements, and the videos you film — is stored locally on your device. Levr does not require an account, and this data is not uploaded to us. It leaves your device only in the specific, optional cases below, and only when you choose it.

What we collect, and why

Usage analytics. Levr uses an analytics service (PostHog) to understand how the app is used — for example, how often a workout is started or a feature is opened. Events contain only counts and feature usage, never the content of your workouts, notes, or videos, and they are never tied to your name, an email, or an advertising ID (IDFA). These analytics do not track you across other apps or websites, and Levr never shows you ads.

On iPhone, these events are linked to your device: alongside the random per-install identifier they run under, we record a device identifier — the same one described in the in-app messages section — so we can connect how the app is used with the other things the same device sent us, like survey answers, when deciding what to build. On Android, events remain tied only to the random per-install identifier.

Ad measurement (iPhone only). The Android app contains no advertising or measurement SDK at all, so this section does not apply to it. On iPhone, Levr includes Meta’s measurement SDK so that, if we advertise Levr on Facebook or Instagram, we can tell whether those ads worked. It reports that the app was installed and opened, and that a first workout was logged, alongside a device identifier — never your workouts, videos, or notes. Levr shows Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt once. If you allow it, Meta may use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) to attribute your install to a specific campaign. If you decline, or never answer, Levr tells the SDK that advertiser tracking is off and measures only in aggregate through Apple’s SKAdNetwork, so we could not see which person an install was. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

In-app messages (only if you answer). Levr occasionally shows a message from us — an announcement, a short survey, or a quiz. Answering is optional. If you do, we receive the options you chose and any text you type, along with which message and question they belong to, your app version, your language, and a device identifier. We use it to decide what to build next. Your workouts, videos, and notes are never attached.

AI-assisted import (only if you use it). If you import a routine by pasting workout text, a screenshot, or a file, that content is sent — through our server — to a third-party AI provider to generate the routine for you. If you import workout history in a format Levr doesn’t recognise, only the file’s header row and a few sample rows are sent to detect the format — never your full history. Either way it is used only to build your import and is not linked to your identity. Please don’t paste sensitive personal information into the importer.

Google Drive export (only if you connect it). If you connect Google Drive, the video clips you choose to upload are sent to your own Google Drive. Levr requests the narrowest Google scope (drive.file), which means Levr can only see and manage the files it creates — it cannotread the rest of your Drive. You can disconnect Drive at any time in Settings. Your use of Google Drive is also governed by Google’s own privacy policy.

Levr’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Camera, microphone, and photos

Levr uses the camera and microphoneto film your sets and detect holds, and saves a clip to your device’s gallery when you tap Save — on iPhone via add-only photo access, on Android by writing the file to your movies folder. Video is processed on your device. On neither platform does Levr read your existing photo library.

What we don’t do

• No user accounts and no sign-in — so no name, email, or password is collected.
• No selling or renting of your data, ever.
• No ads shown inside the app, ever.
• No cross-app or cross-site tracking beyond measuring whether our own ads worked — and only if you allow it when asked.
• No access to Apple Health, Health Connect, or health records on either platform.

Keeping and deleting your data

Because your workouts and videos live on your device, you can remove them by deleting the item in the app or deleting the app itself. Clips you uploaded to your own Google Drive are managed from your Google account. Analytics events carry no name or contact details; on iPhone they are linked to a device identifier, so if you want them deleted, email us (see Contact below).

Children

Levr carries a low age rating on both stores, but it is intended for a general fitness audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party services

• Google Drive— optional cloud export to your own account. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Analytics (PostHog)— product analytics; see “Usage analytics” above.
• AI provider— processes AI Routine Import content to generate routines.
• Meta(iPhone only) — measurement of ads we run for Levr; aggregate only unless you allow tracking when asked. Not present in the Android app. See “Ad measurement” above.

A note on future accounts

Levr does notcurrently offer sign-in, cloud sync, or user accounts. If we add optional account-based sync in the future, we will update this policy — and provide in-app account deletion — before that feature ships.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
